Is Brenton's son staying at Houghton?
Dan? He withdrew from the season after our last trial game due to ongoing concussion issues.

If the Flash raced Superman across the Universe, would Grae Grant still try & convince the umpire he deserved 3 votes?

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 6 - 2017
Round 3
Elizabeth vs Salisbury West
Top of the table Elizabeth are looking like one of the teams to beat this year. Both games so far they have kicked big scores and look to have plenty of contributors. A really solid running game with a group of young lads who love to attack should see them to strong for a Salisbury West side looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss in round 2. I think Salisbury West will try to keep the game in tight and if able to do so they will push Elizabeth and ask the question of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth by 6 goals
Brahma Lodge vs Fitzroy
A massive game for Fitzroy, get beaten 3 weeks in a row and finals are fast becoming a hard task. This is the team which had everyone talking for positive reasons and after this weekend it could be curtains. They need a lift from all and not to leave it to the same guys each week. BL on the other hand are sneaking under the radar their best is clearly good enough to challenge this year and so far they have been really strong. I expect BL to have a more ever team spread and this to be the difference.
BL by 4 goals
West Croydon vs Mawson Lakes
Very interesting game this with WC being unbeaten they should be to strong for a 3rd week. This being said I hear they may have a couple of guys missing and that may bring them back to the pack. Obviously they have another strong forward this year to replace Aloisi and again I think they might have to much firepower. ML were tipped to struggle this year however so far they have been fantastic and with a really strong midfield they may surprise WC.
WC by 8 goals
Pulteney vs Houghton
WOW Houghton have had a start to the season they would rather forget. It must be hard losing first your captain then your coach. It will be interesting to see the response one would expect them to really galvanize and prove difficult to crack this weekend. They have probably the best ruckman in the comp and if he can get on top that will definitely help. Pulteney have been getting the job done but have also only played the bottom 2 teams thus far. Its been interesting to see them cover the loss of Aish and so far no standouts up forward to kick goals.
Pulteney by 2 goals
TOS vs Ingle Farm
TOS are expected to get plenty of quality back this weekend so this is their time to shine. Playing the early favourites gives them a chance to see exactly where they are positioned going forward. Ingle Farm will have to much depth and quality for TOS with Grant Grea continuing to run a muck they will be hard to beat. Their defence is holding teams very well and then the spread and ball movement off half back is exceptional. Really well drilled and coached will prove the difference.

1) Aloisi played at Brahma Lodge, not West Croydon
2) Mawson Lakes lost by 20 goals last week - how's that "fantastic"?

Houghton are 0-2 and coming off a 7 goal loss at home, Pulteney have an average winning margin of almost 8 goals, won both games away from home and beat the pre-season fancy Fitzroy Rd 1.. i'd say they've covered the loss of Aish more than well lol.
