Thought Dave from Alberton would have had a better taste in beer

Agreed, but a bit shitty for Beryl and Derek from West Lakes Shore who have been rusted on since 1991 and for one year pass up on their ticket because of a pandemic and they can't drive the Camry into the car park to sit next to Margaret and Stan from Life Care Rosslyn Park in 2021.
Beryl and Derek are the real casualties of the pandemic... they say it does hit the elderly more significantly.
Adelaide Oval members have been given a couple of options. The option I’ll be taking is continuing to pay the monthly Debit and all money paid up to the point when fans are allowed back will be credited towards season 2021 membership.

You really do have no idea do you?
Sometimes there is 4 or 5 drags left, especially if someone lit up without checking how far away the train was.

Putting blame on the clubs is an interesting spin.
AFL failed to get SA Govt/Health to change the policy for them to remain, Port/Crows were able to change their mind which now leads to a home Showdown, surely part of the submission would have been to allow umpires into the state to officiate the game? or did they forget?
FWIW the SANFL umpires should be able to do it as a once off surely.
Its still more than 2 weeks away. Just s4nd some over and get them to quarantine. Would surely be cheaper to quarantine half a dozen umpires for 2 weeks than 2 whole clubs for an extra week. Also surely some capable umpires live in sa? What about the 2 who got engaged on the oval last year, they're from sa??
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

They had a prior engagement? (Sorry, I’ll see myself out)
