mawson lakes played a friday night game and a saturday game would be hard to find a reason to miss both them trials

I've watched all the trial games and can say no line up was the same and there were names missing in all the trials. The day it was played on is irrelevant, once the season kicks into gear the players will be there. I'm sure this is the same for a lot of clubs.

How many teams that have played trials played their side they will go into round 1 with?

I wouldn't read to much into trial game results.

I can assure you Barry that we are under no illusion of what to expect in round 1. It's going to be a tough game and for the record, we have never beaten Mawson Lakes, home or away, except in a trial, but you can't read much in to trials.

Is that right, never? I've always enjoyed playing against Mitchell Park. Still remember copping a few from Sarge I reckon it was, the first time I played you some years back.

Part of me thinks Houghton is a good shot at home.. but then the ground is similar size to TOS so wont have the same impact as it will on other sides.
Also just not sure who will stop Cotter, Zorich, Perry and O'Hara (if he's playing where he should).. that's a pretty potent forward line and Houghton only have one Q..
