Re: 2023 Adelaide footy League - Division 6
Marion - Central United - Salisbury all heavy favourites for the premiership.
Central United last couple years have shown the Old experience in the A grade especially but keep coming up short if they don't execute this year it could be bad news in the near future.
Marion Full of youth and experience 3 senior sides lots of depth will definitely come close.
Salisbury picked up 4-5 from Brahma lodge returning juniors I think but should be around the mark in div 6.

We play Marion in a trial coming up. Will be interesting to see how they match up against a Div 5 side

They should have a go against a div 1R side, I wonder who'd win?scottroo wrote:We play Marion in a trial coming up. Will be interesting to see how they match up against a Div 5 side

Re: 2023 Adelaide footy League - Division 6
I'm hearing Brahma lodge are considering not Feilding any sides in 2023 due to lack of numbers most clubs have till the 28th to give the league final numbers of registrations?
Any truth to this?

I know Dave Beven at Brahma is a really good president, would be sad to see them merge with Mawson lakes Or Salisbury West but let's be honest money does run out eventually

Ammo clubs don't merge nowadays, although Mawson Lodge does have a nice ring to it.MarionPremers2018 wrote:Sticks28 wrote:I also heard rumours aswell but didn't know how true the statement was - will be interesting to see the outcome.MarionPremers2018 wrote:I'm hearing Brahma lodge are considering not Feilding any sides in 2023 due to lack of numbers most clubs have till the 28th to give the league final numbers of registrations?

Re: 2023 Adelaide footy League - Division 6
I've just been informed that you're jumping at shadows a bit mate, yes they have lost some players and there's a few lower grade players not playing at all but they will still have a decent A Grade and enough numbers to field a B Grade team.MarionPremers2018 wrote:I'm hearing Brahma lodge are considering not Feilding any sides in 2023 due to lack of numbers most clubs have till the 28th to give the league final numbers of registrations?

This talk pops up annually on here, just the clubs vary.

Not many though.....Executive Member wrote:two actuallyThe Bedge wrote:None.whufc wrote:How many if any players went from the Lodge to Smithfield.
Was wondering if this presented question marks about there being too many teams in the northern burbs but if Smithfields return has nothing to do with Brahama's downfull then its irrelevant.
