Thinking back to school days when we were lucky to have a ceiling fan in the class room let alone air conditioning and the fibro demountables at Underdale that had one little pedestal fan for the teacher up the front.....onto today where Mrs Boon just messaged that "The air con isn't working in the kindy, it's awful, we're being relocated because of the kids" I said "Oh, that's awful, you want me to send some concrete in really small cups?"

It's not gone well.

Performed two interviews today with candidates both agencies regarding as very strong.

The first lasted 5 minutes, the 2nd lasted 3 minutes before I told them that isn't going to work.

The 2nd one game me a written out piece of paper of theh ours and days he can work, when I asked him if he is looking for full-time employment hge said "You tell me".

Yeah, I was feeling somewhat confident this morning though with these two so it was a kick in the nads, especially after submitting an annual direct labour cost report to our accountant on Friday only to realise that I am 7 full time people short every day, I have three casuals but one of them is still a caravan.

When I was about 12 the old man used to drive trucks interstate and was away most of the time. It was Mothers Day and we went to my Grandparents, it was only mum, my 4 year old sister and me.

Mum was a bit down when my Pop asked "What's the matter Shaz, is everything OK?"

"Yes, I'm alright" she replied as she broke down in tears.

Little 4 year old sister chimes in with "She's crying because the Police came around this morning and took away dad's tomato plants".
