Re: Sheffield Shield WA v SA - Nov 6-9
Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but article in yesterdays paper said Andrew McDonald is out until around Christmas time with a chronic hamstring injury. He's targeting the Strikers opening BBL game against Hobart on Dec 22 for his return. He will miss a minimum of six rounds of the Shield season.
With Victoria last season he missed most of the 2012/13 season due to a hamstring torn from the bone, broke down again in his 2nd Ryobi cup game with the Redbacks due to post-surgery nerve damage he was unable to bowl or field properly due to a loss of feeling in his leg and now hoping to be back around Christmas time.
Quality recruiting decision that.

Re: Sheffield Shield WA v SA - Nov 6-9
Good to see the Redbacks get a win on the back of a partnership by Head and Smith. Good bowling performances again led by Sayers.
First game at Adelaide Oval next week? Against WA again. Presumably we'd get Ferguson and Klinger back. Klinger in for Raphael and Ferguson in for Munting. Back to the traditional 6 bats, keeper, 4 bowlers?

Klinger and Ferguson in for
Raphael and Munting?
Hughes
Klinger
Head
Ferguson
Cooper
Botha
Smith
Ludeman
Sayers
Mennie
Lawford
(Would require Cooper / Head) to bowl a few others
Munting might be injured as he only bowled 3 overs in the second innings.
