I felt it at Alberton. Thought it was a train going past until I looked at the clock and noticed how early it was. Trains dont run at 2am.

I'm in Norwood (for those that didn't know that
) and was up until 1:30am doing work. I do remember hearing all the neighbourhood dogs barking about as I was trying to fall asleep.
Wow !!!
Wow !!!

There is a story in there about a cricket game SA V VI
From a Joslin refererence
Mr H was in the SS team at the time
On the Sunday rest day the SA team took there Victorian counterparts to the Barossa fr a drink or two.
Mr H woke up after being hit in the head by the wall.
He found himself looking at a one foot gap between the ceiling joints and the wall, but thinking, ""I only had one red and one white."
Mr H
=
G Hole
K Horsenell
?
Both were in that team
Just for the record
SA 315
VI 9/401 DEC
SA 305
VI 6/148
Purely a coincidence
The 1954 quake happened when a Sheffield Shield match was being played in Adelaide
We are currently in a SS match against NSW

I blame daylight savings and Port Adelaide are blaming North Adelaide.

It cant be daylight savings. It would have been 1:22am otherwise!
It cant be North Adelaide, Glenn Elliott isn't there anymore!

Re: EarthQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQuake
I thought that someone had stolen the truck out front (I almost never leave it there) and put it into the wrong gear and hit the house and then continued to push us across the paving.
It was very strong here about 2 km from the epicentre.
I have felt some others shake the wood piers but this was the biggest.
Made me think about what I should do in a real quake!
