I would expect neatly all SANFL teams would be right on their salary cap so have little or no room for a late contract.
Perhaps we will see him go to the bush for the rest if this season.

If you join the dots with what was on the News Updates tonight, I would suggest most Clubs would be steering clear for the moment.

My mail is the two are unrelated.
North have lost some players in recent weeks so would have plenty of salary cap space.

Until otherwise confirmed we have to assume the two incidents are unrelated.

South Adelaide have not released the reasons why Nick was released and the SANFL have also chosen not to comment due to the nature of the charge before the courts

Which means Nick Murphy is actually Tony Abbott in disguise and the related news article is paying off of people smugglers!
