The point is that Chad is not interested in being an SANFL coach because he has a love for the competition and respects what it stands for. He wants a job at an AFL club and is willing to be their reserves coach. If they were in an AFL reserves comp or playing in the Ammos, he would not be less inclined to take on the job. Did he enquire about the Glenelg job last year? Did he consider applying for Sturt? My bet is no and it's because they have no AFL affiliation.

To be fair, he doesn't have any 'love' or history with Sturt.
He is exactly what Port Reserves need, really.
Knows the Club, got cred around the Club & obviously wants to move into the field of Coaching.
BTW, I am NOT Captain Port Adelaide ;)

Agreed, has a Port Adelaide connection and Port Adelaide knowledge. Don't confuse that with love of SANFL or knowledge of SANFL comp as it currently stands.

The ghost of Fos resides in a hole in a fence behind a bush at Alberton?

I think he's recalling his first 'encounter' with a girl. ;)

You won "tool of the week"

Tools, holes, fences, bushes...

OK, Dogger_2 is either describing a trip to Bunnings or a recalling quick knee-trembler behind the bike shed after the Le Fevre Tech high school social.
