The game against Districts would be a great spectacle if he was to play in either grade. I would be one who would like to watch that.

So for the first time in recent history, Goodwood appear to be losing a few guns in 1 big hit.
Has the money run out or something? (Only joking!!)
But a couple of my work buddy's who are involved with goodies have said that they're losing Tuck, Illman, their B&F winner from last year (who's actually come through their junior ranks), plus a couple of others who's names escape me (maybe their ruckman from memory...)
Their U18's last year were pretty solid, so it'll be interesting to see how many of them step up to play A grade this year and how they adjust.
I'm sure they'll find a way to adjust, as the club is pretty strong through juniors, seniors, and off field. But it's a test they haven't faced in a long long time.

Hearing Salisbury North have lost Rhys Clinton and Ricky Stoynoff to a club in the YP league. Clinton is a massive loss, having been their sole ruckman for the last few years.

You'd have to think Head Office would love the prospect of that

As far as I'm aware he has kept out of trouble since being released and I hear training hard. There is nothing wrong with giving a bloke with a history another shot at life. Indeed in my view it's admirable.

Around the courts it's a common view that people in organised sports are far less likely to run foul of the law. The sooner people realise that clubs like Salisbury North provide a valuable service to the community the better.

Well said mate
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Prince Alfred seem to have added Hayden Jolly, Tom Bartlett and Brock Castree to their Premiership side. These blokes league experience along with picking up a few old scholars who have washed out of the Reserves/Under 18s systems. Given that the gap between D1 and D2 appears to have narrowed in the past few years one would expect them to be very very competitive.

Have heard that PAOC are looking very good too, along with ROCS, who seem to have added a few quality recruits/past players.
Have read on the clearances page that Henley lost a few, and heard that both Payneham (Milne) and Port Districts (Leahy) have lost some obvious quality as well. But it's still "silly season" so hard to predict how things will go in the first few rounds! Should be another cracker season though.

Been a bit quiet on here lately, any word on other key ins and outs?

If it's not a ROCS v PAOC gf I will be somewhat surprised.

Also, at least one committee will be ruing their ROI

Because the final played on a bigger deck, I'm backing paoc in to take the title.
They wiped us and unley like a dirty ass in the prelim and gf last year.
They're very impressive on the bigger grounds. I'm confident enough that they'll make it that far to play on thebby.

Agree they're favorites, but realistically ROCS, TTG and PNU all prefer bigger decks as well and play similar game styles (all of which we have Nathan Bassett to blame for)

Payneham even losing Milne would have to be favorite by a street!
Add Liam Davis to that forward line and Ialleggio into the midfield and i assume a few more on the edges and they are a serious unit, who have all played a lot of footy together at Norwood!

Yes, jo's "look over there" game is fooling no-one. PNU only failed last year because of injuries in finals.
Even better squad and clear favourites for 2016
