No wonder I'm such a peanut.

Work keep slamming me for having too much A/L built up, apparently I've got to take some or they'll force me.. but I just don't have any need or reason to take time off so I think it's a waste lol.

Nope, our GM has had to rush up to Darwin as their site manager is in hospital, there's always a lot bullshit to go through as well when new positions open up as transfers have to be approved etc.

It was doing my head in and I've been a bundle of stress thinking about it, now I'm just trying to not focus on it.

The other bloke in the last two hasn't heard anything either.

I have thought about following him home.

Another similar role has opened up in the interim too, I think whoever misses out from the two of us will be first dibs for the secondary role, only thing is it will be afternoon shift, huge coin though.

Will be interesting to see it all unfold as it will inadvertently result in 8 positional changes for the backfill.

I'm quietly confident, the extra time has enabled me to come up with structural plan that will blow them away in my next interview.

Why does a lamb yiros now cost $2 more than its chicken or felafel counterparts?

Is this phenomenon peculiar to Nik's BBQ @ Mawson Lakes? Superb yiroses, but not good enough to justify the (now) $15 price.

Oh no, that is a kick in the guts.

I do understand the price difference, lamb belongs on a yiros, chicken is a cheaper meat and belongs on a burger with lettuce, cheese, tomato and mayo. I'm not a fan of chicken yiros.

The yiros, chips and coke deal at Nik's is good value, a bit pricey otherwise.

If I could get lamb fillets for $9 a kilo you'd think I'm a sick kiwi.

Should have added Pork probably down by the same margin but I would presume not the number one choice for a yiros.

How bizarre, I just got an email for my 2nd interview, it's on Monday, cheers @Spargo

Theyll want all they can eat if theyre paying $10, you wouldnt believe the carry on. They complained when a BBQ went from $5 all you can eat to $10, so the next time we did $2 snags and bread and $5 steak sandwichs, we now do $10 all you can eat
