With so many out it has been a struggle at times but our club is lucky it has so many blokes willing to lend a hand. Few weeks ago we had 37 unavailable across the 3 teams but still managed to put out a C’sBluedemon wrote:How are clubs going with filling their C grade each week?

I think that's when it will up the ante a notch with unavailabilities, it's no surprise that you guys aren't having any hassles atm, the club seems to be in as good as shape as it has been for some time, nice work. Roo gave your club a fair plug yesterday morning on the radio.locky801 wrote:

Credit to all involved (I'm not one these days) Board and all working harder and towards specific goals and everyones on the same page, credit to Shane and his team behind the scenes, now all we needs the new clubrooms to be built lolLightning McQueen wrote:I think that's when it will up the ante a notch with unavailabilities, it's no surprise that you guys aren't having any hassles atm, the club seems to be in as good as shape as it has been for some time, nice work. Re: C Grade
That C4 comp is different.
8 teams.. 1 game.. 4 clubs with the bye, 1 forfeit.
*edit* - whoops forgot Kenilworth pulled their side.

How many forfeits are you allowed in the year before you have to withdraw your team?

Re: C Grade
Yeah I reckon at the moment they wouldn't be forcing teams out due to forfeits. So many player shortages would be out of most people's control with Covid etc.

Re: C Grade
Not C grade, but Ingle Farm Jnrs are getting slammed.. U12’s forfeit, U13’s lost a few, U10’s lost a few and a couple minutes ago my 24 player squad had been reduced to 14.
Trying to find some U10 kids to come play U11’s now so we can field a side.

Re: C Grade
Two - Marley & Sam. They’re actually U11’s (and registered as U11’s start of the season), but because we had a full squad, Sam went to the 12’s who were struggling for numbers and Marley is his best friend. Sam is very good, Marley has never played before though and struggles. The Ash Man wrote:How many U12s played U11s for you last week ?
Had two kids who doubled up, stepped up and played 12’s Friday and then 11’s as well (Jake & Kooper), although Kooper didn’t even make the warm up because he was sick, ended up being positive for covid.
Also played an U10 kid.
We actually have 4x U11 kids in the U12’s so they could field a side - Sam, Marley, Walid & Benji. As it is the 12’s only have 20 in their whole squad, and being in the central division has really hurt them.
Sadly this week, Sam, Walid & Marley have Covid (along with 9 others from the U11’s squad inc my daughter), so can’t ask them to help.. and the U10’s are playing same time but at Golden Grove so makes that hard too.
