Likely to lose to Woody South this week and only 50/50 to beat Salisbury the following week.

Forfeit in a home game is really concerning. Their Bs is essentially their C grade from previous by the looks.

This division is incredibly tight - at one end you've got sides fighting for top 3.. middle fighting for 4th and 5th spot... but opposite end all still staving off relegation!

WS, PUL, SAL - all one win away from 4th.. also one win away from 10th!

.. in other news, little cheeky of Pulteney trying to claim (-1) player points for an U18 that isn't theirs.

Greenacres need to get some players back or Eastern Park could jump them
Pooraka looked the most likely to drop out but a close win on the weekend gives them a little breathing space
Woodville south obviously the form team outside of Marion but have the top 2 teams the next 2 weeks
Portland still with only home games left but play 3 teams above them

changes every week with different results, looks like relegation and battle for 4th/5th could go down to the last round

I see Marion had another racial vilification incident against Woody south over the weekend. That's twice this year against them. Not a great look for the club.

Probably the right top 30, could argue others but i think the order is way off

Interesting round coming up!

Mini Grand Final this week - Trinity OS vs Salisbury.. winner stays in D5, loser relegated. Lots to play for!

Similarly for 4th and 5th spot - Pulteney, Woody Sth, Pooraka and Portland all trying to squeeze into two spots... and given Pulteney and Pooraka have EP and Greenies, results could also impact who gets the home final!

You'd have to think Woody Sth in the box seat to beat Gaza - although Gaza must be one of the unluckiest clubs to be relegated, they've lost 6 games by less than 10pts!

Pulteney underdogs against Eastern Park, they'll be scared of travelling that far North and of the arm sleeve tats.. but their superior percentage should keep them ahead of the pack

Marion obvious favs over Portland.

That just leaves Pooraka to possibly sneak in.

Was one of Marion’s weaker sides on paper this week. From what I’ve seen of them, they move the ball from one end of the ground to the other faster than any other team this season.

Was one of Marion’s weaker sides on paper this week. From what I’ve seen of them, they move the ball from one end of the ground to the other faster than any other team this season.

Its Marion's to lose as far as I've seen. Their ball movement is fast and they play on at all costs, they don't rely on just a few either.
Teams can start by finding a way to shut down the midfield and tagging Zac Angel off half back!

Crapped the bed in the D6 GF in 2023, prelim in D5 last year. Have the team to do it on paper, but not a very tall side, I've noticed.

Height wont matter on a dry, sunny Spring day on a big ground where they can utilise their leg speed and ball use.
