Units up then?
Instead of who?

I seen an interesting document in regards to club kits, they are not allowed.
Given the fact that players have to wear a certified helmet on top of buying all their own gear, I wonder if there will be a decline in players, especially women?

At a guess NEK would want to exercise their right for relegation, you've also previously stated that North Pines don't want to go up.

Feedback we got was that it wasn't ideal to have club kits if can be avoided, but they're not banned, and measures need to be taken if used e.g. individuals have own inners/box and need to sanitise bats/helmets before next person uses.

Hmmmm, I've just passed that info on, some players had been told that it is prohibited.

I understood it as you cant share the club helmets anymore. you can never stop players sharing pads and bats.

I generally avoid touching my team mates helmets as much as I can.
6 team grades across the whole comp would be a winner.
10 game season - gives plenty of space to schedule the byes in for Australia Day and the Test without having to play a Saturday Sunday game to make up for it.
1 up 1 down each season with an extra week in the finals. 1v2 with the double chance, 3v4 in a knockout.
Better depth without the bottom 2 sides of each grade getting flogged week in week out.

Talk Saturday at Central United that they wont play the weekend of AFL Grand Final given it's also Cox Plate day.
Thoughts from others? Personally i'd rather not start the season then have a week off, and/or have to make up a week.
I say start with a 2 dayer, then play a 1 dayer for Round 2 and roll with it.. and allow those clubs who agree and can organise it to start earlier than 1pm on the Saturday so they can be finished for the AFL Grand Final.

Why not stick with a 2 dayer and as you say if both teams can organize it start earlier. You only need to get through 70 overs compared to maybe 80 overs in a 1 dayer. As it is some teams bowl their 70 overs by 5.30 in a 2 dayer so if they start at 12 noon they could be finished by 4.30.
As what was mentioned at the AGM any Saturday off creates a Sunday which is not preferred.

What do you want to play? A season of cricket or a little cricket scheduled around byes and weeks off.
6 team divisions, incorporate T20's into the comp (mainly in December when people have Christmas shows but one on the 24th of October with an 11am start)?
Could even have days when 4 teams play at the same venue and have back to back T20's to shorten the amount of weeks in the season.
Gotta think outside the square this season, you could find a gem of an idea that sticks forever.

Ideas like these should be explored. If Corona has taught us anything its taught us to throw out the status quo and be innovative.
