Yes they do, im pretty certain it is trial games that night for them

Correct, the U/14s and U/16s play trial games after us Round 1. That's probably the reason why we're not having a triple header round 1.

It is a shame IMO, it would of been nice to kick off the season with a triple header and it would of made things so much easier too. I know a few C graders are a bit annoyed that they'll be travelling all the way to Hope Valley round 1 because they have travel and not getting the chance to see the A and B grades going head to head with HV at home.

Round 1 would have been at Hope Valley not North Haven.

Hope Valley v Ovingham @ Hope Valley on Saturday. Can't wait for our last hitout before Round 1. Cricket have got the oval in really good nick - just in time for us to wreck it again!!

What time are all the trials? I might drop in for a beer and a gander.

Good hitout for the boys yesterday v Ovingham. Some good signs but plenty still to work on. Our Round 1 side should be a fair bit stronger than yesterday's side with most of the list available. It was great to play a game at home before the season starts. Bring on North Haven

Bet you didn't think you would get a kick either, Farbs? Ash Man did very well and booted 2 goals from memory. Now lets see if we can get him out to training...
