You'd think the top 4 in D7 is set now. Mitchell Park to pay SPOSFC this week, the winner to take a mental edge into their elimination final against each other only two weeks later.

Fourth spot still up for grabs in D7R. Mitchell Park probably need to knock off SPOSFC this week to be a chance of taking it.

The big incentive for our A's Q is to win our next 2 games and have your boys knock off St Paul's in round 19 thus giving us 3rd spot and a home final.
The magoos can't make it unless they win both their last games by 200 odd points combined. They are playing well but their percentage is going to bite them in the end.

Yeah you're right. I thought if we won all three we're in but alas, that is not the case.

I would try and claim we've been a bit hard done by considering we've had to play North Pines three times for losses of 119, 67 and 74 points and Adelaide Uni have only had to play them twice - losses of 2 points - which I am lead to believe was a pretty stacked side and 131 points.

If North Pines were playing A Grade where they should be, or if the fixture was even close to being fair, I'd hazard a guess the Mitchell Park Reserves would be playing finals this year.

I think people forget that early on when both teams were at full strength, we drew with North Pines.

in the scheme of all things mitchell park to have 2 sides with an agrade possibly to play finals, and a bgrade with some good wins under the belt, the reserves not playing finals is no big deal, considering the club was on the verge of closing its doors for what ever reason in Febuary

Yeah very true and to be honest no-one is getting near North pines (unless Houghton get a massive influx of players back) and we were a long way off Houghton, so at best we might have snuck an elimination final win and then got knocked out anyway.
