I think the guy getting released back into society will be more of a sentence for him than being on the inside, a terrible human being.
Was staggered with the sentence, but I think you are right, he would be stupid to stay in Melbourne.
10 months

8 months for reckless driving
2 months for the filming
I would have thought there would be a charge of some sort for not assisting the officers who were injured/dying, but maybe there isn't such a thing?

Been meaning to post this and it could go in the restaurants thread

What I dont understand is how can you go to a pub on a Sunday lunchtime and on a Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm, order a Chicken Schnitzel and get told, "Sorry we've run out...."

In the words of MT79, Dollys Bar Leanyer Darwin, BANNED!!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I've been to a particular chicken shop at around 7 PM of a weeknight evening to be told "sorry, we've run out of chickens". This has happened more than once.

It happened at Mawson Lakes KFC one night when I went there a while ago.

My favourite fast food moment though was waltzing into the Munno Para HJ's a few years back.

Me "Hi mate, what's on the Rodeo Burger?"
