Because Raphael is awesome

In a tight game Raphs 5 became vital ;)

Resting from his English County season......plus still working on his fitness back in Adelaide ;)

Heard that Siddons has set him some non negotiable fitness standards and some doubt whether these will be achieved and could be a no show for the entire season ?

Alex Ross- brilliant batting. Ferg batted well too.

NSW the pacesetter early, hopefully we can consolidate over the next few games!

Lot of credit due to Zampa too. We were gone when him and Ross were together, but he has done this a few times now, his quick fire 50 got us back in the game. Ross was excellent and showed great composure under pressure.

If we can finish 2nd or 3rd and play in knock out Prelim final will be considered a successful tournament, we won't be the only team to be thrashed by NSW!

I don't understand how/why they bother revised and reducing the match by 1 run and 1 over - surely they could've got through an extra 6 balls..

Starc with 5/39 against Tasmania today. He need just five wickets to equal Shane Harwood's record of 24 wickets in a ODD season. He has a minimum of three games to get the five wickets assuming he isn't rested or injured.

Good call, mate! I should have acknowledged Zampa's efforts with the bat.

I agree with your 2nd comment- give ourselves a chance to play in the final and it would be great experience for the young group.

Like most long suffering SACA fans, success in the shield will be the priority.

I thought it was 1 over and 5 runs? I'm pretty sure the game has to be finished by a certain time and if it doesn't you lose an over every 4 minutes I think???

SA doing well to restrict TAS here - should be able to hopefully keep them around the 230 mark.
