One of my employees put in for annual leave for 3 Wednesday in a row last week, I asked him if he was having an affair? He said "on the 18th he has "The Animals" concert" and then proceded to tell me about the other two.

I said "Shit, are they still alive? I loved them when I was a teenager"

We had a bit of a chat about them and spoke of a few of their songs.

Today he came and said "Hey, my wife isn't too keen on going to the concert on Tuesday, do you want her ticket? I'll pick you up and drop you off"

Looking forward to seeing them, they have some ripper songs.

I did a factory gig in my early 20's that went :

Week 1
Tues/Wed/Thurs 7am to 7pm
Week 2
Tues/Wed/Thurs 7am to 7pm
Fri 7am to 11am to make up the 76 hour fortnight

4 day weekend one week, finished by 11am Friday the next and never worked Monday.

Only issue was the 3 x 12's back to back to back, Friday was basically a write off knackered but I loved it.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

The original drummer (John Steel) is still there - the rest are new

We saw them in January - well worth going
