Todays was a six box, random team break. I got given the Giants. Zero cards. Zero. In 6 boxes.

My next break is at the end of the month when the first set of 2018 cards are released. I have the Astros.

Dayum that's unlucky.
I used to watch box breaks on youtube...amazing what some people 'pull' sometimes...

I met a guy in Adelaide through a US MLB trading card facebook page. He put me onto these guys who do breaks. Much cheaper and you get the teams you want, instead all the other teams.

My first break I got over 100 cards. No big hits yet.

Well my dad passed away in 2011, so none.

But prices fluctuate depending on the team, and if they need to discount teams closer to the break times to fill it up.

What do you mean zero - cards that you don’t have already?

(Don’t understand it either)

The appeal is, I get some of them. I can either wait 3 weeks to get them in the mail and see what I got then, or watch them open the packs live.

They livestream to prevent people accusing them of stealing the good cards.

The 100 or so idiots who have ignored the TDU cancellation today and mounted their bikes causing traffic chaos along their route. Police have received reports that a large group of riders is blocking North East Rd at Chain of Ponds.

From SAPOL : Please don't ride the Bupa Challenge route today! The decision to cancel due to extreme weather conditions wasn’t made lightly by organisers. There will be no facilities for riders including water, food, mechanical support, first aid, and there will be no road closures in place.

Open road, taking their own risk, whats the issue?

If you were driving a car that hit and killed one of these riders because there are no road blocks or safety precautions in place you wouldn't have any issues? Or any of them dropping dead because there are no drink stations or medical support, then that is fine too?

A group of 100 blocking lanes is vastly different to a few riders that you have to change lanes for.

(A) causing traffic chaos, for a start; and
(B) those who fall ill or injured due to the heat will utilise health resources better allocated to those who might be more deserving given the weather (the aged and infirm).

Not sure what the fuss is about. They haven't closed the roads to cyclists, just cancelled a planned event.

I don't get your point, they are riding an open public road, not breaking any laws, they are taking their own risk, I work in the hills and despite the heat there have been thousands of cyclists riding around watching the TDU, majority of them are from interstate spending big $ in the town.

They are riding up on gorge road which is about to be closed for the TDU race, who would be driving down there today knowing that? They are the idiots!
