It was mentioned a few months back - Salisbury West I believe have to submit to the AdFL why they should be granted affiliation for season 2018 after events over the past couple years.

They're in for next year at this stage. AAA signed and bond paid

FC do you know, or is there any truth to the rumours coming out of Londonderry Ave that the current SW committee upon receiving orders to submit a letter outlining why they should be granted affiliation, delved into their archives and dug out a letter that was penned to the league some number of years ago for the same purpose, changed the date and then submitted it?

If true, that's pretty embarrassing for a footy club to not only submit the exact same document - but to actually have a document on file to be able to resubmit relating to their behaviour and why they should remain..

Also how can you take a club seriously when that's the "effort" they make to remain affiliated and change their ways?

People from the Northern 'burbs are never shy to talk about things - especially things they might be proud of where they've managed to save themselves some work by re-hatching old work.. Almost an element of gloating involved when these people cut corners, like they've managed to avoid a RBT while under the influence.

The last time west Croydon payed players was in the 90’s after everybody defected to woody south an other clubs (pretty sure the year after a double flag loss 99’)
Dropped the club in to div7 and put it in a hard place, the club hasn’t paid players since.

Call the club what you will, there’s a good heart in there and 2018 will be the start of what will be a very hopefull year.
Just because you have a chip on your shoulder doesn’t mean you need to be petty because something struck your nerve.

2016 ruckmen for west croydon was playing college basketball in the states was back here for a while and getting paid to play football
