Really good round of matches this week!!

Umpire gets a split second to see, compute & decide a decision in a split second where as all others can review footage in slomo. Give him a break i say.

From all accounts the lighting down there isnt really upto standard anymore for night matches...

I'm not involved in your league, but i saw the livestream from that game. Lighting was pretty poor and Clamp never had a case to answer to.

how can we watch the livestream of the GSFL games?

Hills & Mallee leagues have live streaming too. Go onto "Call Of the Wild" Facebook for Hills & Mallee Football League Facebook pages.

I have watched 3 leagues at the same time while in bed at home before :D

Correct

4 out of 5 with the Creeks providing the BIG upset of the round winning by 1 point after getting out to a 7 goal lead early early in the 2nd term
Creeks led by 17 points at 3/4 time but looked out on their feet in the last term not really looking like scoring and just seemed a matter of time before the Demons over ran them. Despite having most of the play they were making heavy weather of scoring before finally slotting a few goals in the final minutes to hit the front by 5 points with less than a minute to play and seemingly would go on to win but the there was one more twist as the Creeks won the centre clearance to see Helyer for the Hawks pull in a big contested mark about 30m out directly in front and coolly slotted it through to put the Creeks back up by a point with what turned out to be only about 20 seconds left which saw the Creeks hang on to keep their season alive.

Ethan Moore (at port) former yank b&f, has played a couple games this year now
Luke Arandt
Dylan Collis.

All were in the best against Goolwa

Arandt & Collis still just the one game to their name for Yank. Guess they really wanted that win against GPE! Moore has played a couple, but none since the win over the Pies.

The other possible inclusion to the Tigers still shows as - Player (sp) on Play HQ so unsure who that is.

Interesting there have been no player point breaches this season. Does anyone know the points allocation for each club this year.

Mt Compass got 47 points this year so everyone at head office is happy, and they don't have to be scared of politicians coming to hearings

No surprises in Rd 10 with the Creek / Victor result the only match that was up for debate with Victor falling in by a goal to consign the Creeks task of making the finals very difficult indeed.

Willunga over Compass by 8 points
A very accurate McLaren (20 - 2) over Myp/Sell by 65 points
Bays by 123 over Yank
Strath after struggling to shake off the winless Magpies for 3/4s finally surged away in the last to win by 72 points.

Strange game at the Creek where the loser could just about kiss their finals chances goodbye.
Creek kicked with the slight breeze 1st and despite dominating possession only took a 3 point lead at 1/4 time as Victor were very efficient with their rare forward entries.
Victor completely dominated the 2nd term and seemingly had the game wrapped up at half time being 7 goals up.
2nd half was a complete turn around as the Hawks were all over the Roos who made the mistake of going defensive and they paid on the scoreboard as the Creeks cut the margin to 2 goals at 3/4 time.
Despite going into the slight breeze the Creeks quickly wiped off the deficit to hit the front by a point before the game became a stalemate for the last 15 - 20 mins with Victor finally managing a goal which was enough to hang on and keep their finals hopes flickering whilst the Hawks were left to contemplate how they dominated possession for 3/4s of the game and lost.

Round 11 saw 2 upsets which sees who plays McLaren in the Grand Final still a 6 horse race.

Strath had a crucial upset win against Willunga to maintain their 5th spot whilst the Demons drop to 3rd from 2nd.

Victor scored a regulation win over winless Goo/PE tho not picking up important % which could be crucial deciding 5th spot come Rd 18. The Magpies in recent weeks have become a lot more competitive which gives them hope of scoring a win before the seasons ending.

McLaren had a raining session over Yank

The Mudlarks have continued their meteoric rise by jumping into 2nd spot after pretty much snuffing out any hope Compass had of playing Finals in a low scoring contest.

Langhorne Creek overcame last weeks disappointing 1 goal loss to Victor to inflict a staggering 153 point turnaround from their Rd 2 clash with E Bay. Thrashed by 99 points by the Bays in Rd 2, the Hawks were rank underdogs against the Bays but the Hawks didn't give them a sniff of the ball as they stifled the Bays with relentless pressure from start to finish to hand the Bays a big wake up call whilst keeping their finals chances alive with a massive Derby match against Strath coming up next week.
