Wristy,s Final Five

1. Marion
2. Morphy Park
3. Pulteney

5. Gepps X
1. Morphy
2. Pultney
3. Heccies
4. Gepps
5. CLG

Outside of the bottom 2 it was very even last year. Expecting similar this year. Likely to be all triple headers as well which is always good. Great year for travel again :D
It appears my Marion optimism may not be shared by all and sundry. Looks like a good year and a lot of Heccy love in Feb. Interesting to see how it plays out across the year.

They may well win it but historically speaking the jump from div 5 to div 4 is significant. That being said they were rather dominant last year. I'm sure they'll win their fair share and be fighting it out for a finals spot at very least.

Given Bridgewater are running with a Masters side, this isn't a surprising result

Didn't get there but work with a Gepps B grader

Virginia won in A grade (no idea of margin)

Gepps B grade 25 goal winners

A grade won by a few goals. There is a good crop of kids coming through to compliment some of the older guys they have retained.

I was told Gepps won the 2s as VFC had low numbers but I thought it was closer to 15 goals than 25 but he was there so that may well be correct.

That's about what I heard, too, Virginia had 3 sides playing cricket finals so there would've a few in there.

Apparently Pulteney picked up another quality forward.. not sure how they'll fit another 3 pointer in, but i'm sure they'll get creative! :D

How were the trials in terms of scores and performances? OSB/Lonsdale v CBCOC

The reserves trial was a good hit out for both sides. CBC won that one by four goals i reckon. If cbc kicked straight the margin would have been far greater. However, Lonsdale was competitive with them, especially after quarter time.

In the 1's, CBC were very good in the first half getting to a 10 goal lead, but lions outscored them in the second half and the dolphins got up by roughly 7-8 goals.

From what i saw, I think both clubs got exactly what they wanted from it. I think Lonsdale would have been pleased due to seeing they matched it at times against a side two divisions above them. And CBC would have been happy as you could clearly see how they wanted to play and they executed it pretty well. Really positive football for them

The much travelled Anthony Adam has signed with Morphettville Park.
If he knuckles down and matures a bit, he could be a good player

Pulteney vs Gepps Cross
Scotch OC vs Marion
Hectorville vs CBC Old Collegians
Hope Valley vs Morphy Pk
CLG vs Mitcham

Without any real confidence.. mostly just based off the old fashioned home ground advantage.

Morphy Park though I expect to be around the mark, and Hope Valley still rebuilding.

Pulteney vs Gepps will be interesting - two sides who want to be playing finals.. the Blues making no secret they are aimiing for D3.

Scotch vs Marion will be a ripper to - one side on the slide, the other on the rise.

Jesus, you may as well have put your tips in at half time of the A grade.

There was a positive feeling around the place yesterday.

It was really good to see a solid pre-season pay off early..for all grades
