Re: Rumour re Media Coverage
I reckon there would be just a handful of people watching each game, so you have to question the expense of it all which would not be covered by SANFl members buying it.

Re: Rumour re Media Coverage
Only used it to watch matches a couple of times so far as tend to go to most matches. Will be using it again this week as opposed to looking for the water bag! For whatever reason I could not get any audio for the match against Port at Alberton, (blessing in disguise really), but don't know if that was user error. Annoying having to log in and out again when moving in and out of the app whilst the game is on.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Don't use the app, I only use the app for stats and scores. Everything works much better if you go through the website.

Are you still in New York Jimmy?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I'd disagree with that, compared to previous seasons.
There has been more callers involved, over the course of the season to date, than ever used before.

Re: Rumour re Media Coverage
In fairness to Booney I've only heard two new guys and that was the last two weeks. Might be just a coincidence with who does what games.

Great for o/seas and i/state fans. My internet is crap which makes us look bad
If I lived in SA I'd be going to the games though as there is no substitute to being there with your mates.

If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

I did the Dogs v Bays game at Elizabeth with Brendan Dew.
John Nankivell and DB did the Sturt v Crows game out at Unley.
Phil Herden and Andrew Marks called North v South over at Prospect.
Over at Woodville Don Cooper and David Hutton called the Eagles v Port clash.
It was was supposed to be Grant Coffee and Doug Oakley for the Norwood v West game.
Coff had to fly to Sydney at the last minute for work so because I was available to call, I covered Coff.

The League will be releasing something on that soon.
In regards to Bordertown, we are yet to be advised, at this stage.
I hope so as I don't mind the country trips, although Sunday game not ideal.

Looks like a pretty even spread, is that the case across the season. As in, has everyone called 6 or 7 games each? It feels like I hear the same voices, regularly.

Some do more games then others, based on their availability or otherwise.
There is as about as much a spread as possible, I'd say.
Some voices are more regularly heard with certain teams than others, perhaps?

Re: Rumour re Media Coverage
So far only 1 person has called every week (John Nankivell)
& only 2 others have called at least 1 game every round (Phil Aspinall & myself)
(I will be off mid August for Eagles Carnival Day)
occasionally due to late withdrawals there has been a double up, would be less than a handful of times.
Been more spread and more voices this season than any I can remember in my 14 years on air.

As for Bordertown, I hope so, I have volunteered to go ... all other country games have been done.
