I'm hearing ya, I think I'll give the site a break for a while, it's handy to jump on for a browse in between tasks at work or on my phone when I'm sitting at home doing FA, but it takes ages to do either now and I can't seem to skip around the ads when on my phone.

It boots me out every time now as well, it usually keeps me logged in for weeks.
No wonder that Wedgie bloke did a runner, site gone to shit

As I stated in DOC’s thread on this topic, removing guest user access will significantly improve the situation.

Currently, anyone can go to any forum page on the site, so bots have unrestricted access. Look at the guest user list, you’ll see a heap trying to compose a PM or download a file, things only a real user can do, so they aren’t true guests just reading posts as was designed.

The site is based on a very old software platform that is held together by sticky tape and glue, so there isn’t a lot than can be done, but removing guest access is a simple step that will help (if it’s an option than can be enabled!).
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

When you pay for something, you need to pay on time … yep, fine, all good.

When a business owes you, whether it’s a refund or whatever … sure no problem, it will take 2-3 days to process and the payment could take up to 30 days.

WTF

Try and get money out of Qantas
Around 2019 I issued proceeding against them in the small claims court afterr being f***ed around for 2 years
It was actually quite satisfying threatening them with winding up for not paying

Had similar issues with Qantas around 2021. It's actually amazing how long they'll hold on to your money, without disputing, at all, that you're entitled to it. Like, probably for years, until they actually realise you're going to sue them, in which case the money lands in your account within days.

The interest they must earn on all this money would be gargantuan.

I love my grub but I just cannot understand people chasing scoville points. Why?

Employed two blokes last Friday.

A) On Friday when I offered him the role he asked if he could start Tuesday as he "had a thing" on Monday.

He worked Tuesday and Wednesday, he called in this morning to say "Monday's thing was today but I'll be in tomorrow".

He won't be in Monday.

B) Came in Monday, asked if he could finish early Tuesday as he's got soccer practice. Came in yesterday. Just came in asking if he could finish early as "I'm a bit tired, my back is sore and I'm feeling a bit light headed when I stand up fast".

Help me.
