that is a bummer, hope they can get the numbers for the year.

We hope so too, Andre Kulpe set to play his 400th game friday week under lights v Trinity at Hope Valley. Was the travel distance (Gawler to Plympton) a factor for Trinity?

We have about 12 A graders out at the moment plus probably 10 B Graders. Taking its toll on the C grade who haven't really had a stable core group of players that they can rely on every week anyway. This coupled with the travel factor (which is a p*** weak excuse) resulted in the forfeit. I know there is a minimum of 7 players back next week and a few each week for the month or so after that. Hopefully all 3 grades can be strengthened for the rest of the season.

It's crap for the boys that did travel all that way only for their mates not to rock up and for the Plympton boys who were denied a game and probably more % than what they were given for the forfeit.

Feel sorry for the boys that made the effort to come all the way to Plympton only to have to go all the way back, would have used about $20 worth of petrol on the trip!

Plympton has been in the same boat as has many other clubs at some stage or another so we understand that due to circumstances it happens, and its not the people that have turned up's fault.

The only request I have is that you could next time flag it with the opposition a bit earlier that you MAY be struggling to field a team, instead of 5 minutes before hand. A heads up with 20 minutes prior would have saved half of us getting strapped up because we would have waited. that stuff isnt cheap and its very painful to take off again straight away while its still sticky! I ended up leaving my knee strapped till Sunday morning!

Thats junk WUB, we had the bare 18 big fukn deal! We got smashed through the guts. Cats were especially good in three areas 1) keeping their feet, 2) running hard at the ball and the man in every contest and 3) waxing off the hard ball getters, the receivers just spread every time there was a contest and ran it out of trouble.

8 goals to zip 1st quarter, and the game was over, after that we had a bit of a crack but even then it was 10g to 2g after 1/4 time. I felt sorry for the backline who got crushed by continual ball into their area.

We had the bare 18, we were undermanned, but i'm not using it as an excuse - then why mention it? We got SSSSMMMAAAAAAASSSSHHHEEEEEDDDDD!

Bring on next week so we can learn from it and get back on the winners list.

Our boys got up by 34 points.

WUB12/Jabber, I don't know if it was any reason your Cs lost, but today was their first game in a month after having the bye, the half way break in the season and then not playing last week after Trinity forfited.

I just always read the "we lost but we had 20 out" shit that other clubs put on here and laugh and think to myself how much thats a gutless excuse. I don't want Plympton to be one of those clubs.

According to about 95% of posts on this site its either because a side was undermanned or because of the umpires, that a team they play against wins. And its a load of ******* crap.

Simply outclassed by a better team on the day. Woodville south came to play and hit it hard from the opening bounce

Those guys have been in the C's for years now they would only be a couple seasons off of life membership, they certainly deserve the success they have had this year
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet
*I apologise to Hope Valley people in advance, no offence intended
