And all to win a Premiership that basically means nothing (huge asterik next to it)??
They wont change the font size for the asterik.

You can be such a Negative Nancy Eagles2014. All the clubs that have numbers on the track right now training are all training for 1 thing. To win a flag.

Was just a prediction Arch, I could not give a toss either way. Wait and see all the comments on here leading into September though and you can apologise then

Will only be from the sore losers mate, I wont be apologising for them
It will be interesting to see how many players come back to the amateurs because of leagues shutting down. We have got two former players back but may lose a couple who won't play following the shutdown.
Went down to the club for a committee meeting and a few beers tonight.
Had three groups of 20 going at it in terms with the regulations with another group of 20 planned to start at a COVID safe time.
At this time of year when it's this cold we would have had 30-40 out there.
Yeah it's going to be a weird year on many levels, but after locking up a bunch of 16-35 year old blokes for 3 months the enthusiasm is huge. This year will be undeniable fun at the very least
Alot of clubs talking to players whose leagues have been cancelled. Will be interesting to see if they can fit players into the side with the points!!! Plenty of players from the York Peninsula coming back to the City to play. You would be silly not to have a crack at these players

Think of it as a 1 year loan system because I’d bet the majority head back next year

College teams are all over them I hear, they have points to use.
If a player plays country in 19, city in 20 and then heads back to country in 21 does that reset their points at the country club?

Yup
Wow, few country clubs be pi55ed off about that.
So, for example, if someone like Tyson Wait has played four years at Paskeville, was a zero pointer, came back and played Div 1 for PAC, would he then be a three pointer for Pasky if he returned in 2021?

Doesn't playing over 25 games for a club make you a zero pointer?

Depends on what sort of cash is flying around. You’d be very optimistic to say the coin will be the same....
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

No. Zero points and as LM said that’s always been the rule. You see many juniors go else where and then are targeted for their return for this exact reason.
