This comment doesn't read well at all. I recon the league would like to have that one again.
Ban the players and fine the club, no issues, but to then ban waterboys and make a snide comment about it as well is poor form from Thebby HQ IMO.
Totally agree with you trader, was about to say the same thing myself. Its a ridiculous penalty. Who even thinks of this type of punishment, I think the children are residing at Thebarton HQ

But ultimately the last few years have seen assaults on umpires, players fighting crowds etc. Has a Brighton been involved with any of these? Of course not.
However rule needs to be the same for everyone. Contextually some Brighton lads in the reserves is different to more explosive situations, but for obvious reasons it needs to be treated just as if clubs with more problematic backgrounds had the same happenstance

Some people are just losers who need to find something better to do with their time than take opportunisitic photos like this and report.
Or make aware if a player comes back on early after a 10 min send off

Disagree. Usually in society offenders with poor records receive harsher penalties then first time offenders, the same should apply here. Although I believe the problematic clubs have a right to a clean slate once they have proven themselves over a period of time, some just ain't there yet IMO.

I suspect there is more to this story than meets the eye and the League hasn’t done itself any favours by trying to protect itself from whatever the real issue that has caused this.
Please correct me if I'm wrong DTH and don't go into details (none of our business) but I have a feeling that this possibly was the straw that broke the camels back after a couple of previous indescretions?
The punishment doesn't seem to fit a one off offence.

SPOC boys fairly happy with the news that Holm (27:32), Coad (32:44) and W O'Malley (67:22) are apparently all off to Thebby HQ tomorrow night for various incidents on the weekend.

IMO, Coad's hit is late but probably gets off. The other two, especially O'Malley, look in trouble.
In all honesty what happened to having some pride in being a little tough? All three went down like year 8s when the boarding master called lights out. Is that the old collegians soccer match? I’m surprised their daddies didn’t run into the oval screaming “I’m a lawyer!”

No red cards handed out, so how do these three end up at the tribunal.
