Lucky they didn't refer to potential to cause injury like they do with dangerous tackles.

Re: AdFL Tribunal Listing
HQ have repeatedly said they don’t sift through the 45 match videos a week.MoP wrote: No surprise to see Haysman (SPOC) get 4 weeks. Interesting, though, to see that Wisman (Glenunga) got suspended when he didn't even give away a free kick, but Gibson (SPOC) got sent off for his tackle, but didn't get anything.
More confusion/mixed messaging from HQ. Based on what I saw, I think Wisman deserved his suspension, but thought Gibson may have got one, too.
My understanding is SPOC complained about Wisemen. Did Glenunga complain about Gibson ? If they did and it is as you say he might’ve got one.
I don’t think there’s any confusion at all except your understanding of how incidents are brought to Leagues attention because if they are, like or not, HQ are normnally onto it.
What time is the tackle you are talkng about ?

Re: AdFL Tribunal Listing
I presumed 'cos the tribunal report said MRP, not Investigation, it was instigated by the league. It wouldn't surprise me if SPOC's President complained to HQ. Wisman's incident was 5:20 and Gibson's 23:20, from memory. The Bedge wrote:HQ have repeatedly said they don’t sift through the 45 match videos a week.MoP wrote: No surprise to see Haysman (SPOC) get 4 weeks. Honestly didn't see a whole lot in either of those relative to the Haysman one (which was a shocker)

Fair effort to go from 7 weeks to none!
Well done to the Woody South defence team!
I wonder if the league will apologise to the lad for putting his name out there for a week as guilty to a fairly serious charge.

Re: AdFL Tribunal Listing
Depends how you interpret it. Was the appeal dismissed, so he still copped his suspension (it does still show 7 + 1), or was the charge dismissed at appeal? The Bedge wrote:That's how I read it?bloods08 wrote:Looks like the appeal was dismissed to me.Trader wrote:Fair effort to go from 7 weeks to none!

Re: AdFL Tribunal Listing
Legal definition of Appeal Dismissed: "Appeal dismissed means that the court will decide in favour of the respondent or the party against whom the appeal is brought".
The applicant was WS/Player and the respondent was the League/Tribunal. So the League/Tribunal won.

Haha, thanks lads, appreciate the clarification. The Bedge wrote:Tribunal is like the Casino - house always wins.
Surprised he only got a suspended week added. Basically a free appeal!
