Re: New Clubs for 2017
An injury list approaching 20 players if not more certainly didnt help yesterday's result for morphy parks.

Without going back over previous posts has Para Hills FC been included into these discussions. Just from what I'm hearing should have a very competitive list.

Coaches have been named, and D7 is the destination is what I'm hearing around the area..

Guess it depends on the glenunga Pulteney merger going thru and who they give that free spot to.

Ok thank you for that.
Who will take the spot then? Cause cant see Prince Alfreds C grade wanting to go up??
All this means nothing if Pulteney dont merge

Is the merger talk just pure SAFooty hype or is there some actual substance to it?

Huh? What spot? Where?
Are you forgetting about the two SFL clubs coming in?

The only thing I can find in relation to this talk from either club involved is Pulteney indirectly mentioning some off-field issues in a facebook post leading into finals.
My guess is a merger is a back up plan to whatever it is they are trying to sort out. It's certainly not player retention related at the moment with GF appearances for both reserves and thirds again this year.

You know this for sure?
I just find it hard to determine where a club will be until nominations go in. As we have seen, (PHFC) nothing should be taken for granted.

Re: New Clubs for 2017
para hills must go into div 7 because its a "nursery" division and flaking clubs must be nursed into the big smoke by belting cgraders for a season
to restore their roar, as MP would express it

Re: New Clubs for 2017
Unley went well. Won 7 games and were very competitive.
So you have a C grade in the GF, another playing finals, one winning 7 games and another on the bottom of the ladder.
Sounds like a great and healthy comp... not even close to "belting C Graders"
