Lack of fitness at round 6 already ?? Me thinks the 'coaches' out there are more worried about their own reputation and burgeoning career rather than that of the club...

The coaches need to go by the sounds of things, with that budget, how could they fail?
And you know what the budget is I assume
FreeForFree said they are rolling out the "ca$h" easily
Surely he is an expert

Hefty wrote:$200 per A grade player, per game??
Which equates to $75600 just for player payments
Even if the real amount was posted some would still not believe it so why bother
Yep your right Hefty
PS an expert is just a unknow quantity under pressure
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

I dont think the club owes anyone anything..... If your talking about Lester he was paid later than he should have been but was certainly paid and that comment came from the Prez at the time.

I don't recall an all in brawl. If there was I'm sure both clubs would have a few tribunal cases to answer to.

Definatly no ALL in brawlmaybe a bit of push & shove between a couple but no punches thrown, good healthy rivalry between the 2 and good to see quite a few Brahma boys went in for a beer after the game.
So there weren't any $2500 fines doled out for a melee then?

Big shoutout to my ol mate Colin Harrison playing his 300th in the Bs this week @ Greenacres.
Great player from a proud EFC family. Think his old man Kev played 3-400 odd games for the Eags as well.
Onya Colzy, have a good one.

Re: SAAFL division 5 2014
Avoided checking the forum all week because I thought CBC would cop a few whacks over our performance on the weekend. But everyone seems to b getting stuck into greenies.....
On our game on the weekend para hills pushed all bar 2-3 players into their defensive half of the ground then counter attacked on the turn over, with numbers running forward. Their CHF did a lot of the ruck duties around the ground with their ruck man sitting a kick behind. They executed well, we played dumb footy. Full credit to them & their coaching staff. We are really looking forward to the return leg @ dolphin park.
Can someone find out some details on this Harvey (CLG). Size, strengths, weaknesses? Where did he play before CLG?

His one true weakness is champagne glasses. His Achilles heel, or kryptonite you might say.

He's big enough, has NO weaknesses , played at Goolwa in the GSFL before CLG and will kick between 6 and 20 this week.

Re: SAAFL division 5 2014
Good turn around from last week for the Dragons, I dont know what was said or done during the week but credit to the players and coaching staff. Playing at home helps a lot as well but our run and ball use was much better than last week.
Even our "B"s played ok which was pleasing.
I would congratulate our "B"s for getting over to the boundry line and giving the 300 gamer from EFC a round of applause even though we lost...great effort lads.........
Pity the EFC boys didn't show the same respect to our club after the "A" grade game......... not a single player, official came back into the club for a drink or a bite to eat.... grow a spine Gentlemen you lost, have a drink and a chat then move on to next week and respect any club you play not just those you beat.

I would also like to thank the B grade from Greenies in the fact they did form a line for the 300 gamer, also think this only happened as coach Andy Webber is an Elizabeth lad and played alot of footy with this particular player.
As for the A grade Greenies played well after half time and took their chances each time Elizabeth turned the ball over.
On a side note and not blaming these guys at all as yes i know without them we wouldn't have a game, the free kick count was a staggering 40-9 and when the umpires were asked if they could justify it the reply from one off them was "that's cause your Shit and they are good" wtf this guy should not be able umpire at any level an absolute disgrace to the game.
