Does anyone here recall Booney mentioning that he was going on an overseas holiday? He kept that quiet.
Anyhoo, in other news - are there any budding gardeners amongst us here? Looking for some ideas for plants to stick in the front yard.
Rules:
1) No flowers
2) Must be drought resistant because there's a fair chance the only water they'll get is from the sky.
3) Would prefer natives
4) This thread is useless without pics otherwise i'll have NFI what you're on about.

I'll get you the names and pictures of what my dad had in his front yard, they had to be hardy yet the looked great.

We've got these spiky plant things in our backyard that look pretty snazzy all lined up in a row. They look like yaccas but without the big sticky-up thing in the middle. Google 'spiky native plant' and you'll get an idea. Also, it doesn't matter if they die cos they look hilarious, a bit like Cousin Itt. One of ours died and I put a string of Christmas lights around it rather than pull it out.
