So there is actually an "AFL Second-Tier Manager". Simon Laughton. Would be interested to hear his views on the SANFL. What are his contact details?

Don't think he would be too concerned with the sanfl. His job is too run the neafl.

Fair enough, seemed to be in the local and interstate media a fair bit during his oversee of the League Championship "Foxtel" Cup.
Mostly involved with the NSW/ACT side of AFL bizzo for a few years. Shouldn't be too hard to get hold of him.

Disagree, not too late. Over the last twelve months, Rucci seems to have changed his perspective on the AFL reserves topic (for the better). Now he's actually considering what may be best for the SANFL.
I've been one of the first to "bag" him previously, I even started a thread to vent what a toss bag he's been. But credit to him on this.

I read that on Friday. Was waiting to see if anyone acknowledged it.

I couldn't understand what he was driving at with this paragraph:
"If a national reserves series emerges from an AFL finding more and more money, what would happen to the SANFL after the Crows and Power abandon the local competition? To grasp this concept, think of the VFL today ..."
Now I thought the VFL today is stocked with AFL players, so if a SANFL competition with the AFL players removed is comparable to the VFL today I must be missing something.

Apparently he was spotted outside Harris Scarfe being rude to a doorman because he thought given his media status, he'd been kept waiting too long while the doorman allowed other customers in first. There was a scuffle during which Weslo turned up and got their asses whipped because Eric knows Kung Fu.

Re: NO AFL IN THE SANFL BANNER WEEKLY UPDATE
A mate of mine swears he saw Eric in Sydney outside 215 Anzac Parade, Kensington.
If our boy was there to enrol at N.I.D.A. then that Hollywood hack impersonating the real Eric may be in big trouble one day.
