Just to reiterate, they are from our under 18's last year and I know 2 go ok... ;) but would have only been B graders this year. No offence to anyone at Greenies cos I like turk and the boys out there but there B grade is no place to be. Their A's might go OK but their B's are very average...

On a side note, 2 new recruits out at GG last night. One a fairly decent Div 1 player who can kick a goal... Not sure if he's signed or not though...

Choccies is pretty accurate with his desciption there..

In all honesty we probably should have been relegated last year.. we were very lucky to stay in div4 but we did so we move on.....

There has been a bit of turmoil around the club over various issues and the fact a Div1 club had 2 of our best signed with them before the season was even finished (this is how you repay someone who lent you facilities during renovations) has left a sour taste add then the fact that they didnt even train before leaving make me think IF this club had kept their sticky fingers out of the pot these players may still be with us.

A brand new senior coach with some different ideas that are shaking things up both on and off the track is proving challenging for some.

the young blokes and the coach that came across from the Grovers have been very good on the track and we are happy to have them ...rest assured that when they pull the black and green on there will be plenty of protection on and around the park....so have a crack at your peril.

Yes our b grade will continue to be an issue has been for the 20 yrs that I have been associated with Greenies but if tradition continues we will put a team on the park, how good they are remains to be seen

All I know is that when that Maquee goes up the beers will be cold :drinkers: the bbq food hot and tasty and our prices will be ok. =D>

PS yes Seigfried and Waldorf will still be in the area as grumpy as ever!!

Yes the interchange gate...major issue that one...............

but in all honesty we have been asking council to provide us with or give us approval for 2 new coaching boxes with the northern one moved 15m north to allow a decent sized area for stewards and a decent gate area..

again more frustration with the PAEC ... but we have strong support now and believe we will get a 400k upgrade to change rooms etc within the next 12 months...here's hoping and [-o< .

club officials cant help it if players dont know the rules when it comes to interchanges thou...lol

Heard Simon Peuker from Pt Districts is Heading to GG as he is best mates with the new coach, will be a very handy inclusion, kicked a fair few goals in D2 last year

I think SD mentioned earlier....

Wouldn't read into SW clearances as most of their player exodus is attributed to their now defunct C grade side.

Tits is the brother in law of Benny Armstrong. Handy pick up for a D4 club thats for sure, although in his very late 30's. Played a bit of league footy at Port and North and a lot of ressies. Armstrong also played for North and a lot at Kilburn

Simon also at Seaton and Port District. Good player and very strong in the upper body and hard to hold out in a marking contest.

Good get for Golden Grove for his voice and direction as well.

Another ex Kilburn player in Shane Gepp also making his coaching debut for Greenacres this year.
