Agree.. for as long as i can remember, Flinders Parks Ressies and C grade have been a force.. that seems to have dropped away this year. Not sure if some of the older gen have pulled the pin or some of the amazing depth theyve had have looked elsewhere for opportunities.
Most ressies sides would have breathed a sigh of relief when flinders looked to be less dominant, but then Golden Grove have well and truly picked up that mantle!
We picked up a bloke called Tom Cousins who I believe played ressies at Flinders and seems pretty decent at that level.

Who is the coach? I don’t think they would even need a coach to be fair the team is that strong - filled with plenty of blokes who would play A grade at 99% of other clubs

His name is Scott Sandercock. No football background at all, as far as I've been able to tell.

Father played SANFL I’m pretty sure but yeah that team is now 35 games undefeated all the way back to the 2020 season

Fair play to him but yeah like I said they’ve got some senior figures in that B grade who wouldn’t even need a coach. Watched them the other week and they are an outstanding B grade side

If you’ve won 35 games in a row and are almost halfway through the season and your closest game is around 10 goals, you probably don’t need a coach. The B grade team on the weekend had Mitch McKelvie who played reserves at Centrals last year and Valor Thatch who won a D3 league medal running around and both in the best players. They would be playing A grade at any other club in this division. Cameron Shenton’s brother Rohan who normally plays A grade was also playing B’s. Very good position for their footy club. Anyone know what the record for most consecutive wins is? 35 is good but there would have to be a larger number?

Just quietly though, so much focus and talk on umpires and lack thereof lately - blame placed largely on abuse.. but is that narrow sighted? We are seeing clubs week in week out this year battling with player commitment / availability.. people are just not as interested as they once were.
Maybe the same can be said for umpires - drive just isn't there - abuse aside.

Usually a tough side to beat in the minor rounds. Very beatable in grand finals

Think you're getting confused with their A's. Dominate the minor rounds, then get knocked out in straight sets in the finals.
