Footage didn't look good but also wasn't clear so a fair amount of doubt surrounded impact, etc. A fair result given the evidence IMHO.

Gut feel tells me it may have been worse but on the only evidence they have the suspension is about right imo

Few concerns this week now against Lobb and Mummy. Plus matching up against Lobb, Patton and Cameron without Trengrove in the back 50.

Reports suggest Eddy has been dropped so looks like Port will go super small. The report suggested Pittard and White to come in.

Is that a sign Port are concerned about the leg speed in the GWS side, and looking to match them in that department?

Yes benny Frampton is a ruckman but Big Bill not quite ready, he certainly has some qualities I like, he's competitive and doesn't take a backwards step. He won't play AFL just yet. I think he has a future ahead of him though. At 200cm and 100kg he's got the build to be a good big man, pretty mobile too.

Bit of a worry against the Giants with no ruckman. Trengove will start in there and do the bulk of the work, Dixon for back up and when Lobb goes in there I'd expect Westhoff to have a run for a short period of time.

Clurey on Patton, Jonas on Cameron, we'll be undersized down back without having Hombsch or Trengove around the place.

That's clearly why they'll go small and try to make GWS top heavy in their back half.

Would certainty be a lamb to the slaughter playing Billy against Mummy, I agree with Boon that I think Frampton will be a good prospect but he needs time, Like most big blokes do. Reality is only Ryder is a chance to get on top of or even break even with Mummy so I guess we must go with Trengrove and roll the dice.

Hopefully with the small forward line we don't 'bomb it in' as we have done in the past, I'm hoping to see us lower the eyes and hit up targets in that 25-40meter range, Time will tell.

METRICON Stadium will host Port Adelaide's round eight game with Gold Coast if the escalating tensions between the US and North Korea force the match to be moved from China.

The Power is set to play the Suns in Shanghai at Jiangwan Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 14 in the first game for premiership points outside Australia or New Zealand.

But Port Adelaide chief executive Keith Thomas said that could change if the club received advice from the Australian government that it would be unsafe to travel to China in light of recent developments.

"We'll take the best advice possible on it," Thomas said on Tuesday.

"Clearly you can't ignore the circumstances that prevail in the world today and they're in a region that's sensitive to China and where we will be.

"Right now, we have had no advice to suggest that the game is at risk or we shouldn't be going, and we'll just keep bowling along until we're told otherwise."

The match is listed as a Suns home game, but the Power bought the fixture off them so it could still fulfill its contractual obligation to have 11 games per season at Adelaide Oval.

In round eight, Adelaide Oval will be used on Saturday night, May 13 when Adelaide hosts Melbourne.

"The AFL have said if the game doesn't happen in Shanghai, they said this 12 months ago, it will happen at Metricon," Thomas said.
