The office is terrible for it.

The missus was crook all last week with it saying "You'll get it"
"No I won't, I've had my flu shot" I was throwing back at her.

Yep, 4 years ago I had my first and last flu shot and was off work crook for 3 days.

I had my first flu shot earlier this year in god knows how long - never had a winter where i've been as sick so frequently!

Nah I reckon the is more education into those types of injuries, I should know I've just sat through a manual handling course where they spoke about all of those type of injuries.

You are more likely to injure yourself doing jobs around the home these day like falling off ladders etc.

We've had OH and S reps since the early 90s but nothing else and they do nothing.
Havent seen one thing in hospitality promoting anything different from what they would have done 30 years ago since I started tbere too.
I just wonder in 20 years time if we will be saying the same thing about something else?

I dont like him as a person. Cant actually stand watching him speak.

But I think most of what people are told he's doing is exaggerated or flat out lies by the media to create content so they have something to fill their 24 "news" channels.

If you actually ask people what hes done so wrong, they usually recite a news.com.au headline and have no clue when you ask follow up questions.

I got into a discussion the other day about the immigration crackdown and the person i was speaking to told me innocent people were being deported.

My response was no, illegal immigrants were being deported. If you are in the country without proper documentation, you've automatically commited a crime anyway.

This same person thinks theres too many immigrants in Australia, so it just proves they jump on the outrage train and dont actually have any thoughts of their own.
