Its about this time every year I get pumped up reading the reports and getting sucked in to the hype that this is our year, we expect to win and we have the list to win it blah blah blah only to have my heart torn out, spat on, kicked the road and pissed on in the gutter come February, So this year I'm going in expecting to finish bottom in all 3 forms that way I simply cant be disappointed!

Anyway, Redbacks have taken a squad of 14
Botha Cosgrove Head Cooper Ferg Lawford Zampa Sayers Ludeman Putland Lehmann Ross Tait Winter
Good squad.
Who the F@#k is Winter????
Nick Winter, from the ACT. Left arm medium/quick. Ripper lad, was contracted by SACA at the start of last season and been playing at TTG. Before being contacted he had a couple solid years performances in the futures league competition.

He's been left out in the cold until now.
He gives the batsmen a real chill I'm hearing
Gets the ball to nip about.

Many a batsman has been known to freeze whilst facing him...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
Great that we get a lot of domestic cricket live on Gem, obviously not great for the people who want to go and watch live cricket interstate but gives a lot of these guys some excellent exposure.
I included the Redbacks One-Day schedule in the first post.
