Round 18 - Centrals v Sturt @ Elizabeth - 2:10pm Sat 6/8/11
The Double Blues need a win to get off the bottom of the ladder, but their task will not be easy as they come up against a Central District side who will be hurting after a rare loss.
The Bulldogs are vulnerable with injury problems at the moment but I think playing at home, they can win this clash by about 7 goals.

I pity the side who confronts an angry Dogs side this week. Dogs to bite back with a vengeance and win by plenty, 8-10 goals and push Sturt closer to the spoon

Should see Boyd, Hayes, Gowans and Thomas back for this game hopefully. Whether all of them will come back straight into the league side I'm not sure. Boyd and Hayes have missed quite a few games.

Oh dear lord!
70+ point thumping coming up
I wish I had more confidence in my team but playing out there can be trouble even tho we got up 2 years ago. sloop hope I am wrong.

When was the last time Central lost to the bottom team two weeks in a row?

I was going to look this up myself (although it would take a while to investigate), but didn't when we just managed to beat Sturt (who was on the bottom at the time); and the week before lost to North (who were bottom then, too). Strange. And now Central have done the same, I should think the Dogs will win by 6 points.

They might do it two rounds in a row, but they won't do it two weeks running

can't predict what will happen, too far out still. Want to see what happens injury-wise between now & then.

Are we going to have to forfeit this game if we can't get a full team on the ground?
