Re: Australia v South Africa (2nd Test)
After four overs, the type of spell Cummins would be used to, he has managed to hold up reasonable pace (quite a few in the early to mid 140's), and bowled a couple of dangerous balls. I'm a tad worried that the wide ball he has produced quite early in each over is one that normally would have flown to a catching fielder in a t20, and he has no other wicket taking ball unless it is a "you miss, I hit".

Still bowled too many crap balls today, if it wasnt for Cummins bowling tight at the other end they would be over 80

Sorry Shane...

Re: Australia v South Africa (2nd Test)
Lunch, Day one...
RSA 2/107
Rudolph 30
Smith 11
Amla 14* looking to play a few big shots that aren't there, as he was bogged down early. Won't need to do much if Kallis keeps chugging along.
Kallis 43* off 33 balls. Was about a run a ball, then 12 off Lyon's over bumped it up a bit. He's not an aggressive batsman, so his strike rate speaks volumes about our bowling.
Johnson 1/40 Has gone for runs, but has looked dangerous.
Cummins 0/17 One or two balls looked threatening, but at least he's bowled tight. Ironic that as a guy who shot to fame in T20 cricket, he's had two four over spells.
Siddle 0/17 bowled well to Amla but that's about it, hasn't looked like taking a wicket.
Watson 1/13 Pulled a Wattostring.
Lyon 0/12 Does not need to bowl another over today.

Re: Australia v South Africa (2nd Test)
Aside from our four bowlers we have:
Hughes- 3 overs in FC career for no wickets
Khawaja- 120 overs in FC career for one wicket, listed as a medium
Ponting- 5 Test match wickets, can bowl medium or spin as I recall
Clarke- 21 Test match wickets, was a useful part timer early in his career. Spinner.
Hussey- 4 Test match wickets at the average of 28... That will get blown out in this Test match.
