I'm looking at the positives, less byes and I get to abuse more Crows supporters.

Clubs will still be able to maintain and grow their supporter base IMO, as the majority of kids all press to play SANFL rep sides (hence often forming a tie to the clubs) and via their parents and who they barrack for in the SANFL.

I cant see the reserves sides being a drain as big of a drain on the comp as some have said. Lets not forget these blokes are trying to perform to push for AFL selection. With them all playing together its harder for them to hide and poor performance will show up.

For me, as an AFC and Sturt member. My kids will always be encouraged to support Sturt in the SANFL (hoping the missus doesnt brain wash them into a dogs fan haha) and AFC in the AFL.

I think the current results of this Poll are a lot more even than many on this Forum would like them to be.

I'm now a Carlton fan, no longer a Crow.
Will continue to follow Sturt with a passion.
Hoping the league will be better but unsure.

welcome TRB!

For me, I was looking for the "just different" option.

I think it will be different, meaning there will be some interest in the new comp but like T20 cricket, it'll wear thin very quickly.

Footy Smart, I really fear the future of Sturt. I think we're just about stuffed to be honest. I can't see how the meagre 50k will make us any more viable than we were this year, and having to try and top up our list with locals? How do we ply them out of the local competitions where they only have to train 2 or 3 times a week max for less money than they're on now?

Certainly gadj, I feel the same. Add to that losing Crane, Thomson and no doubt a few more.

the 50K will maybe allows us to keep our head above water, it wont allow us to improve IMO.

I cant cast a vote as there isn't an option to cover my thoughts on the matter.

Who's the snake in the grass who voted they'll follow their AFL side instead??

Unless they are a Port fan and are making a statement they should be exiled.

Typical of the bias of this Forum. 4 "worse" options but only 3 "better" options

I think he just did it to pick on Port.
