Another negative vote to add for Sportsbet after my publicised complaint with them from the weekend.

The buggers cost me $300 because some incompetent mofo left a decimal place out of the odds on a bet I placed.

Then they proceed to only refund me $15 for a $20 bet I placed. They have now given me back MY $5 (gee thanks) and credited me with a $20 free bet.

In my haste to get rid of the free bet I bet on a greyhound race in Manawatu - lo and behold greyhound wins race and my $20 bet turns up an $8 dividend. Don't they just screw you every way possible!!!

I have withdrawn my funds from Sportsbet and will be closing my account ASAP - I urge anyone else who have had issues with them and their deplorable customer service to do the same.

Different rules for on course Bookmakers
If they put up the wrong odds , they have to bet the punters the applicable odds at certain meetings
That limit is odds to $1,000 + at most tracks


WHY
So how do Corporate Bookmakers get away with cancelling at bet at what they have perceived as wrong odds ?


WHAT ABOUT
So the question I ask is
If you back a horse the night before at odds of $5-00
Then the next day just before the race is run that same horse is then $17-00
Can the Frosty's of the world then email the corporate Bookmaker and say the odds were wrong and call the bet off ?

I've recently read an email sent to Bet365 clients
They are making punters away of a change of Terms and Conditions as of 2/7/2013
They more or less state that if B365 display the wrong odds that they will accept a bet to a liability of
$1,000 for horse racing
$500 for Harness and Dogs

Sportsbet " forgot" to uphold their side of a promotion a couple of weeks ago on the race in England. If your horse runs 2nd, you get your money back"
My selection did run 2nd. Waited until lunch on the next day, still nothing. Tried their live chat, got removed from conversation twice, until I emailed them asking if they were going uphold their end of the promotion.
30mins later a transfer receipt came through, saying manually transferred.
Wasn't really a huge investment, but you do expect more from your betting site.

Yeah, had a few technical issues with them since the upgrade. No international markets at the moment and their mobile site isn't great either. Hopefully they get it sorted as they're customer service is the best I've come across.

i always thought 5% of 2.80 was 14 not 9

looking thru other results they arent paying extra 5% on any winners,

its 5% less 5 cents, how do they work that out ffs
