UK started WWII

Having the worlds greatest superpower, with an expansionist agenda, on their doorstep is reason enough to enter the war.

To say they started it is definitely not true either, in fact they tried appeasement under chamberlain. They had a pact that meant that the Germans couldn't invade the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia, but the Germans did it anyway, and Britain did nothing.

After this Germany invaded Poland knowing it would force britains hand.

There is also the fact that the Italians invaded British somaliland a bit later on would have brought them into the war regardless.

There is actually debate as to whether they should have been involved in the First World War, as they were a major sea power at the time but had no real land army, and that they would have been better off waiting a few years and building up their army before they got involved.

He also incorporated Austria back into Germany, breaking the treaty of Versailles, and the Brits did nothing about this either
