No chance the decision will be reversed
You watch how quick they move out if an AFL reserves is introduced
Why do people keeping bringing up about a AFL reserves competition, it is never going to happen.
As much as I hate to admit it, but I agree

Wonder what the smallest Friday night crowd at the Parade is in recent years.
Beautiful conditions for football tonight and the Cows with their strongest line up for the year, would of thought with their guaranteed 4k we should of pushed 7-8k tonight. Would of hardly covered the power bill tonight, thanks again you lyin caarnts.

Well, when the league has been so badly compromised, you have to think why? Who let them in?
The biggest liar by far, in this whole debacle has been the NFC as led by Tripodi. Do not complain about what you sanctioned. if you can not lay the blame where it rightly sits, then the argument lacks substance. At no stage did Norwood ever vote the AFL clubs in due to a perception of crowd figures, expenditure or profit. They sold their vote to alleviate their penalty from cheating the salary cap.

99% of our club didnt sanction it. A couple of blokes went against the club and supporters wishes for their own selfishness.

Yet they remain un opposed on the board. I understand that at no stage did loyal passionate Norwood supporters like yourself want the league compromised.
I think that it is unreasonable for a person going to the football to support their team to be abused and derided when their presence is not something they have control over or can or should be blamed for. If they say can we play and we say sure, the fault does not lay with them. I take JK,s point about having two supporters behind him wearing Norwood colours but them having more interest in how Adelaide is going because they now have a higher regard for Adelaides fortunes.
As an aside, I think the real reason so few turn up is because that most of them either do barrack for an SANFL side and thus do not wish to watch the Adelaide game in question, or they do not have a great interest in the SANFL which would account for the younger age bracket.
A 21 game season is just fine by me.

Thank goodness Trigg and the other 3999 Cows supporters rocked up.
Over 6k to Friday night v Port and nearly 5k against Sturt.
Conditions were the best they have been all year and that was the strongest side they could name, what a joke.
Cant wait to see the crowd when it actually starts getting cold and wet

Port Power Reserves thrash SA
Watched the telecast , PPR put on a wonderful attacking brand of footy
That PPR standard reminds me of the SANFL 1970-1990
I was entertained no doubt about it
I didn't want the B Graders in this comp , but they are terrific to watch , as they should be with all the AFL talent
Yeah it should have been that
But then they crossed to the rooms where the boys sang their team song
I was expecting " Weve got the Power to win ........
But instead I listened to the " Cheers cheers the black and the white , honor the magpie ........
Spoilt the day
Come on, if its one club now , its gotta be one song

If it really concerns you, speak to Eddie and get him to change collingwood to something other then the magpies. We'll be happy to sing cheer cheer the black and white across all teams then.

Yes, amazing how he changed his tune, perhaps the brown paper bags helped?
It's very clear now that Port has such an unfair advantage that this season will finish in a farce on GF day.
Very sad days indeed.

CUTTERMAN wrote:Here's a thought. If Port or Adelaide "breach' the SANFL "salary cap" do they get the same fine as a legitimate SANFL club? I mean a $20k or $50k fine is nothing to them considering they're turning over $15m-$30m a year. The fine should at least be double.
No, the Power & Crows reserves teams will not get the same fine as a legitimate SANFL club. Both of those teams will breach the SANFL $360,000 salary cap and there won't even be a mention of a fine for doing it.
