What is the meaning of you'll keep? The familiar saying "you'll keep" is often used in reply to something that someone has joked or laughed about regarding you. In plain terms it mean, 'You got me this time! But I'll remember this and get you back for that later on', usually in a comical, friendly manner.
This saying is really only used by well educated and intelligent individuals.
