The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Re: Sheffield Shield Season 2014/15
Should SS teams be picking
5 Batsmen
1 Keeper
5 bowlers
?
In 4 day games
I lean towards the above formula , in most games

That's his 5th now
Only 24 years old, spent the first half of his early shield career batting around 6-8 when he was keeping full time.
Only keeps sparingly now but is opening the bat instead

Quality young bat, has dominated underage cricket for Australia
Some real good young bats in shield cricket at the moment

Re: Sheffield Shield Season 2014/15
I couldn't care less if Sean Abbott made a comeback to cricket in his club's 5th team and he batted 11 and didn't bowl. To front up in the very next first class match and win your state the game is phenomenal

Re: Sheffield Shield Season 2014/15
Quick question was the Redbacks score of 20odd against NSW a few years back a record low Sheffield shield score?
If so what was the eleven who played?
