Smithfield ran out comfortable winners in bother grades - after leading by a few goals deep into the 3rd term, they flicked the switch in the last and turned it on, blowing the score line out.

Fantastic hospitality, appreciate the jugs after the game, and both games played in good spirits but not short of competitiveness.

B Grade umpire from Smithfield would have to be the best umpire I've seen do a reserve grade game, he was fantastic and would probably be better than most the A grade umpires in this division.

Overal regardless of result, an enjoyable afternoon out Smiffies.

3-4 goal tosfc win in the B grade..good outfit..best we have played this year..

Anyone know the results from today's TOS v Lockleys games (both grades)?

Plenty of cries of "Hungry" from the crowd but these were not aimed at any players, more so to do with the fact that for some strange reason the foodvan decided to close up at 1/2 time of the B's and not reopen for the rest of the day despite the sign placed outside saying it would reopen at 1/4 time of the A's. The B graders having travelled up on bus that left Lockleys at 10:00am then had to organise someone to do a Subway run to get them a feed.
