URGENT!! Can't open any attachments in Outlook

My work Outlooks cracked the shits, and won't let me open any attachments.

Its kind of a major problem, and the work arounds I've found on the Microsoft site haven't helped.

Anyone got any ideas?

Reboot your puter
Alternatively, ring your IT people and let them tell you, you must have clicked on something because these things never happen by accident

Im as close to an IT person as this company has

I deleted all of the games and music a guy had on this computer (185Gb worth).

He must've had something in his folder that related to this.

Never mind.

He must've had the PDF Reader saved in his secret file for some reason. Just downloader Adobe Acrobat and back in business.

If you have administrator access, do a restore.

A friend of mine ran into the same problem on her laptop, and had to switch to Thunderbird there.
Outlook continued to work on her Windows phone.
It seems to be OK on the laptop now. So, I suspect there was a dodgy update fixed by a subsequent one.

Common problem with PDF files rather than "any files"
(also would be easier to diagnose if mentioned it was specifically PDF files! )
