Our B grade from last year would have beaten our Div 4 sides that finished 8th/9th not that long ago.
PAC and Modbury in the div 2R GF last year would have beaten our Div 4 side every year except the premiership year team

Districts Cs & Ds won premierships in Div 6 in 95
Far different situation in 95. There was A5 and A6 North and South. That would have been like a Div 8 standard (Div 7 at absolute best).
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Who cares anyway the only way to prove it, is for an a grade side to play against a b grade side from a higher Div. Lets move back onto this weeks games

Maybe we need to emulate the media ban at IF?

Haha, only Zartan is banned! I just don't wish to add to the reserves discussion or add to the internal conversations of the Houghton Football Club

Adel Lutheran > Fitzroy Fitzroy would need to get a win this week at home - it's a long way back from 0-3, especially when they've all been home games, trying to win games away from home in the 2nd half of the season will prove difficult. They lack depth, and my money is on a Mitchell Park victory Saturday in both grades. Adelaide Lutheran were good in patches against Ingle Farm, and look a taller, quicker side than Fitzroy, unfortunately a massive 3rd quarter from Ingle Farm changed the game. Their quick ball movement and height should cause headaches for a few sides this season, and on their ground would think they'll win more than they lose. It's hard to see either side earning many wins in the coming weeks, which will straight away put them behind the 8-ball. The question is a matter of where Mawson Lakes and Mitchell Park stack up against those two sides as to where they finish.

I think you are talking about four sides who will all finish outside the top five.
