Have you ever been trout fishing with Nick O'Brien? He's not bad with the fly.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Sounds like he'd be pretty zippy in the wet.

Anyway, someone reckons he's being lured by other clubs. Anyone got an angle on this? Could be a reel big story.

Oh, is that the line being spun? Must have slipped through the net, any idea who hooked him?

Dunno, but whoever is after him could be making a rod for their own back.

This could spawn a whole new stream of puns.

The rumours will a-bait soon as soon as people stop trawling the internet and start tacking the issues.

Sea, I thought nobody would try and lure me into a pun-off. Got me hook, line and sinker.

O'Brien - the big fish who got away?? He 'flounder'ed a bit in the dry and had a 'wet fish' handshake. Eagles supporters are crying a river over his departure though.

Time to ponder a channel change, the puns are loched and starting to get a bit creeky. Canal Gore help?

Big fish in a small pond mate! The right bait would have tipped the scales toward him staying anchored here though.

Any poster worth his SALT knows that these puns come in WAVES. If we CLAMmed up it might FINish soon.

Back on topic, I hear O'Brien is a school friend of Gill McLachlan (used to swim together), and is likely to quit footy altogether. Just keen to just push the barramundi to Friday, with no training in between, then perch himself at the pub.

Eel hit the drink, and if he sees a barmaid he might groper.
